Diabetes Educator Course

Allied healthcare professionals are the back-bone of the healthcare industry, BMJ and Fortis C-DOC Hospital have launched a three months course which will enhance their knowledge and skills.

At the end of this course the candidate will be able to:

  • Describe the pathophysiology, presentation, diagnosis of diabetes and its complications.
  • Understand the importance of lifestyle modifications in the prevention of diabetes and its complications.
  • Understand and learn effective management of obesity .
  • Apply national and international guidelines and evidence to the practice of diabetes.

Eligibility:

Nursing: B.Sc., M.Sc. Nurses, GNM

Pharma: B. Pharma, M. Pharm

Dentists: BDS and above students and dental interns

Physiotherapists: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Master of Physiotherapy (MPT)

Dieticians: With B.Sc., M.Sc. or PG Diploma in nutrition/dietetics
